No mother-in-law jokes when in comes to Clarissa. Her presence in my life over the past 44 years and in the lives of my family has been a true blessing. Since moving to Leverett in 1975, and building on Cliff's potato patch, Clarissa has been an integral part of our family lives sharing in both the ups and downs. Our children Paul, Gayle and Tina trod a well worn path from 66 to 71 Jackson Hill Road. Tina would play school w/ Grandma including having Grandma run up the road for PE class. After Cliff's death we felt a deeper sense of responsibility for mom's well being and part of Sara's decision to start her own school in Leverett was to be there for mom. Mom's faith in God, and the every present open bible, has been an example to us and to all that have the privilege of sharing in her life. We continued the tradition this year of Christmas breakfast w/ Grandma and she was busy making the waffles and making sure all had enough to eat. Mom was also a comfort to me when I lost my 90 year old mom in October. Most importantly I thank mom for her daughter Sara, a person I am bessed to call "wifey."
Thanks mom!!
